Happy Tuesday morning! I’m off to work for the week, but it’s been a busy rush of gigs since I got back from vacation. Therefore, I thought it was time for a bit of a coffee date, a life update, if you will.
If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I’m excited for all of the projects I’m doing off the blog. Somehow some mysterious projects came my way and I’m thrilled to be a part of some new things. I’m excited to try some new things and see where they lead me. Hopefully, these projects lead me to new full-time employment.
If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I had a marvelous vacation (which I intend to recap soon). Of course, it wasn’t long enough and I wasn’t ready to come back to real life. I had a great time catching up with old friends, seeing my man-friend (more about him later), seeing A LOT of Broadway shows, and eating all of the food I possibly could. It took all I had to get on that plane to come back, but I had to.
If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I’m loving how CSA season is in full swing! I’m pumped about the fresh & organic produce and meats that I’m getting every week. Between that and my grocery deliveries, I’m rarely going into the store! It’s great and I have less temptation to buy random items.
If we were having coffee today, I’d offer you some stuff from my apartment. I’ve been purging like a demon the past few days. I literally posted items on Facebook sale groups and Freecycle and they were picked up within just a few hours! Old empty photo frames to boxes of old magazines (WHY DID I EVEN HAVE THOSE?!?) and other random things – I’m winning at this de-cluttering game lately!
If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you anything and everything about the new man in my life. I’m not usually a relationship girl, especially not a long-distance relationship girl, but it appears things are changing. We’re a unique pair, that’s for sure, but I think that opposition keeps our relationship interesting. We all know I’m a performer, but he’s a doctor – so we obviously have some varying interests. We’re both used to unrelenting work schedules, so busy-ness doesn’t seem to frighten us. Who knows? Maybe budget-friendly long-distance dating will be an upcoming post idea? Keep your eyes peeled! 😉
Come back soon for my vacation number breakdown and April budget wrap-up!
Tell me something that’s fun and/or new in your life!
